Differences Between a Workout and Breathwork

One of the shadows I’ve faced in my healing was an addiction to a hyper-aroused state. I kept myself in a cycle by depleting physical energy through exercise only to have it generate again, over and over, after every 24 hours. This might be triggering to hear for a lot of folks, because physical activity has many health and wellness benefits.

This is not to diminish the inspiration and incredible feats many athletes and influencers have accomplished. This is a callout to a darkness that easily gets hidden given that we live in a culture where “fitspo” is highly validated.
