Maple Holistics: Silk18 Conditioner & Almond Oil

Have you ever felt impending doom hoping that your kissing partner will not find their fingers stuck in-between your tangly strands? I have dry, brittle ends and often worry that my hair will never be good enough for someone else’s fingers to enjoy, but luckily, Maple Holistics’ Silk18 Conditioner changes that fate! Read on to learn more about the benefits of incorporating Silk18 Conditioner into your hair routine plus an additional review of their almond oil.

Maple Holistics: Silk18 Conditioner & Almond Oil

I used this product for 10 consecutive co-washes before coming to the conclusion that I personally like it as a deep conditioner compared to a daily conditioner. As a type 3A curly hair person, it is important for me to achieve hold for my curls and because this product is so strong in what it does (the oils will meticulously coat your hair), I can only use it sparingly. If you have straight/wavy hair, or if you have coily and kinky hair and don’t mind loosening up your curls, this product will do just that. It also has a divine vanilla scent. All in all, because Silk18 delivers smoothness and silkiness, I am able to successfully run my fingers through my hair without trouble.

The Silk18 Conditioner is sulfate-free and CGM (Curly Girl Method) friendly.  Read more about all the benefits Silk18 has to offer.

As someone who has recently been introduced to the miracle of oils (and am completely obsessed), adding the Maple Holistics Almond Oil to my routine was seamless. After my hair is completely dry, I flip my head over to scrunch out the crunch of my curls and will simultaneously apply almond oil sparingly to the ends of my hair for added shine and moisture. As for my skin, after I shower I typically mist a rosewater toner to my face, dabbing the toner, then will massage the almond oil in. I also apply it on my neck and chest.
