Held within the gardens of the Musée Rodin, the museum dedicated to my favorite sculptor, the Dior spring 2017 couture runway show and its collection took attendees to a fantastical setting where naturalism and realism crossed paths.
“I don’t want to lose the idea of dreaming,” Maria Grazia Chiuri mentioned. “But I do want to make it possible for couture to be wearable.”
Models were presented fresh-faced, some with tiny stars pasted near the eyes. The distinct styling element that truly caught my eye, the very reason why I had to share, was that of the many playful and garden-inspired headdresses created by Stephen Jones.
