Visual Vignette: Forest Greens & Mixed Berries

Last month, I noticed Ninelle add the most beautiful handmade wreath made of tallow berry, berzelia and white sage bush, and since I had not had the chance to order this limited edition product of hers, I followed suit to create my own using a bunch of holiday greens mixed with holly, baby’s breath, and mistletoe. Turns out, it was not easy to come across mistletoe and baby’s breath when visiting more than four markets, but such a search ended on a positive note when I came across barely blooming peonies.

In this moment, I had realized that I had all the beauty and nature I was searching for, and kept it simple with what I was able to gather. Quite happy with the holiday vignette I had created for the room, a simple, yet grand display of forest greens and mixed (red) berries in a vintage gold ginger jar, and two single pots of poinsettia wrapped in gold ribbon, the inspiration for today’s visual vignette.

A few DIY ideas here – make your own mistletoe posies, create a holiday wreath using baby’s breathe,  or with rosemary.
