It finally felt like autumn arrived last weekend, while enjoying hot tea and lounging in a knitted sweater around the living room and have already begun positioning skinnies, sweaters (comfy knits and cozy cashmere), with boots and heels as the go-to outfit when outside of home. Not to mention, rain on Halloween and yesterday morning saturated our thirst and hope towards the drought we have been experiencing in California.
This editorial reminds of southern California, where we take the cold seriously as it typically feels like spring and summer throughout the year. Locals do not hesitate to wear pullovers even when the sun is shining in forever blue skies and the color of nature’s green is plentiful and there is something so free ranging and la bohéme about these photos that successfully capture the southern California spirit.
It must be due to the photo shoot being located somewhere far away on untouched hills glazed by a bright sun where it is possible to experience two opposing seasonal characteristics at once. Hope you’re having the loveliest Sunday.
